Terms of service
Last updated 30 July 2026
BinkGo lets you reserve products from independent shops near you and collect them yourself. We run the app; the shops own and sell the products. These terms explain what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and who is responsible when something goes wrong.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the app.
We update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed. If a change materially affects your orders or your money, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
2. Your account
You sign in with an Indian mobile number, and we verify it before your account works. Keep your number and device secure: anything done from a signed-in device is treated as done by you.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Give us accurate details, use one account per person, and do not sign in on behalf of someone else without their permission.
3. How a preorder works
Placing an order is a request to a specific shop to hold and prepare those items for you. The shop can accept it, decline it, or contact you about a substitute. Your order is confirmed only once the shop accepts it.
You will see the order move from placed, to accepted, to preparing, to ready for pickup, and finally to completed once you have collected it. Notifications and the Orders screen show you where it is.
A single order goes to a single shop. To buy from two shops, place two orders.
4. Prices, availability and product details
Each shop sets its own prices, decides what to list, and is responsible for keeping that information current — including weights, brands, photos, and whether an item is in stock.
Local shops sell from physical shelves, so an item can sell out between the moment you order and the moment the shop opens the order. If something is unavailable, the shop may offer a substitute or decline the order, and you are never charged for items you do not receive.
If you notice a price or product that looks wrong, tell us through Help & Support. Obvious errors do not oblige a shop to sell at the wrong price.
5. Payments and fees
Right now, BinkGo does not take any money online. You place the order for free and pay the shop directly, in cash, when you collect it. The total shown at checkout is what the shop expects to be paid at pickup.
If we later offer an online reservation amount or full online payment, the app will show you the exact amount, any platform fee, and the cancellation terms on the payment screen before you pay — never after.
Where a platform fee applies to a completed order, it is displayed before you confirm. We do not add charges that were not shown to you.
6. Collecting your order
When your order is ready, the app gives you a pickup code. Show it at the shop to collect. Anyone holding your code can collect the order, so share it only with a person you are sending on your behalf.
Please collect within the pickup window shown for your order. Shops set aside real stock and real counter space for you, and an uncollected order costs them both.
The order is marked completed at the shop once you have collected it and settled the amount due.
7. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel from the Orders screen at any time before the shop marks your order ready for pickup — that covers the placed, accepted, and preparing stages. Once it is ready, the items have been set aside for you and the app no longer offers cancellation; contact the shop or Help & Support instead.
A shop may also decline or cancel an order, for example when stock has run out. We will tell you as soon as it does.
Because nothing is paid online today, a cancellation costs you nothing and there is nothing to refund. If we introduce reservation payments, the app will show you the refund amount, anything retained, the reason, and the expected processing time before you confirm the cancellation, and any charge to you will be balanced by an equivalent consequence for a shop that cancels without cause.
Complaints about what you actually received — wrong, missing, damaged, or expired items — are between you and the shop in the first instance. Raise them with the shop at pickup where you can, and tell us through Help & Support so we can follow up with the shop.
8. Fair use
Use the app for genuine shopping. Do not place orders you do not intend to collect, create duplicate accounts, scrape or copy shop catalogues, interfere with the app or our servers, or attempt to access anyone else’s account or order.
We keep track of cancellations and uncollected orders. Repeated no-shows or abusive behaviour can lead us to limit how many open orders you may have, require payment upfront, temporarily disable ordering, or close your account. Where a restriction is applied, we will tell you why and you can contest it through Help & Support.
9. Selling on BinkGo
If you apply to list your own shop through the app, you are also agreeing to the separate merchant terms shown during that application, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the details and documents you submit.
We review applications before a shop goes live and may approve, reject, or later suspend a shop — for example for inaccurate pricing, unavailable stock, or unresolved customer complaints.
10. Advertising and other content
The app shows advertisements, including ads served by Google AdMob. We do not control or endorse the advertised products, and dealings with an advertiser are between you and them. Ads never appear on the payment, cancellation, or pickup-code screens.
Shop names, logos, product photos, and catalogue text belong to the shops or their suppliers. Everything else in the app belongs to BinkGo. Please do not reuse either without permission.
11. Our role and our limits
BinkGo is a marketplace and technology platform. We do not own, stock, inspect, prepare, weigh, or package any product, and we are not the seller. The contract of sale is between you and the shop.
We work to keep the app accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor can we guarantee a shop’s conduct, the quality or safety of its goods, or its stated preparation times.
Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law, or our liability for anything that cannot be excluded by law. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — such as a wasted trip to a shop, lost time, or lost profit — arising from your use of the app.
12. Ending your use, and applicable law
You can stop using BinkGo whenever you like. To delete your account and personal details, go to Profile → Help & Support → Delete my account — it is immediate and permanent, and the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is erased and what we have to keep. You cannot delete while an order is in progress, and deleting also closes any shop you run through the app.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the law, and we will explain why when we do.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and Indian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. Please raise the issue with us first — most problems are faster to fix than to argue about.
13. Questions and complaints
Use the Help & Support screen in the app for anything about an order, a shop, a charge, or these terms. Include your order number so we can look it up.
We aim to acknowledge every request within 48 hours and resolve it within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, ask us to escalate it to our grievance officer.
